Wendell Dayton (1938-2019) was a Los Angeles-based artist who made sculpture for more than five decades.

In 2018, Blum & Poe Gallery, Los Angeles presented an exhibition of Dayton's sculptures from the 1960s to the present and LACMA acquired Dayton’s early work for their permanent collection.
